Anam Abbas

Anam Abbas is a Pakistani-Canadian filmmaker. She is the DOP and Producer of “Showgirls of Pakistan” (IDFA 2020) and directed and produced “This Stained Dawn” (Sheffield Doc/Fest 2021). She also produced Zarrar Kahn’s debut fiction feature, “In Flames”, which opened at Director’s Fortnight at Cannes in 2023, won the Golden Yusr at the Red Sea FF, and was Pakistan’s Oscar entry that year. Anam is one of the founders of the Documentary Association of Pakistan and winner of the 2023 CMPA Emerging Producer’s award.
