Ali Nabeel Attwan is a filmmaker and director from Baghdad, Iraq. He is currently studying Cinema and Television at the College of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad. He began filmmaking in 2018 and later joined the Iraqi Independent Film Center, where he worked with director Mohamed Al-Daradji and contributed to the film Al-Baseer. He directed the documentary Sweet Water, which is currently in distribution, and later worked on Hijrah by Shahad Ameen as an assistant to editor Hervé de Luze and post-production coordinator. He is currently directing his upcoming short fiction
