Trauma‑informed writer, audiovisual arts producer and multidisciplinary artist with a sharp eye for programming. As a past liaison to filmmakers and jury member of the Syrian Film Festival, she’s guided selection decisions and championed underrepresented voices. A screenwriter on CTV’s top‑rated medical drama Transplant, she’s produced, trained, and supported indie filmmakers through the creative birth of numerous short films. Kinana is the writer of the internationally acclaimed theatrical interactive sound installation Gardens Speak and the award‑winning short Fluorescent (London Film Festival, 2019). A sought‑after speaker on art and post‑traumatic growth, she brings both critical insight and deep empathy to every selection room.
